Sidney Best ASC

Sidney Best's service record survives as a relatively undamaged document in the WO 363 series at the National Archives. Consequently I've been able to update his page on the website.

Sidney attested in Decmber 1915 but wasn't called up until May 1917. He served overseas late in the war and returned home unscathed to continue his cab business in Chailey; a business which his wife had taken over whilst her husband was on active service.
