Commemorating and remembering the lives of the men and women of Chailey, Sussex during the Great War 1914-1918 and remembering too the sick and wounded soldiers nursed by Sussex 54 VAD. This is their story.

have been unable to find any further information on this man other than that
which is published, briefly, in Chailey Parish Magazine.
In
October 1914 it notes that Ernest Sheppard is serving his King and
Country.This information is repeated in
November 1914 but that is the final entry recorded for this man.
