I know very little about W Tingley. In July 1918, Chailey Parish Magazine notes: Tingley, Dvr W, ASC
and this information is then repeated monthly up to and including the final
published roll call in July 1919. I have not been able to identify a medal index card for this man and, given that he was first reported by the church magazine in July 1918, it seems likely that he never served overseas.
