Alfred Dancy
Alfred Dancy
only appears once in Chailey’s Parish Magazine and that is in the August 1919
issue where it is recorded that he won first prize in the 200 yards walk for
soldiers (held as part of the village’s peace celebrations). Nothing further is known of this man although
it is possible that he is the same Alfred Dancy whose birth was recorded in the
September 1893 quarter for Cuckfield (volume 2b, page 161).
